In remote areas or places with unreliable power, traditional electric feed pellet mills aren't always practical. That’s why we recommend the KD-230P PTO Feed Pellet Mill.
The machine operates without electricity. It runs on a PTO-equipped tractor or other farm machinery. Output ranges from 250 to 400 kg per hour.

How It Works
The PTO shaft at the back of your tractor powers the pellet mill. It rotates to transfer power from the tractor to the pellet mill.
A drive shaft connects the tractor to the pellet mill. One end attaches to the tractor’s PTO output, and the other to the pellet mill’s PTO input. This transfers power from the tractor to the mill. A universal joint helps adjust the angle between the tractor and the mill, so power transfers smoothly.
(Note: A universal joint is required unless the tractor and mill are perfectly aligned.)

Usage Tips
To get the best results and keep your machine running smoothly, follow these tips.
- Power Matching: Ensure the tractor or machinery’s PTO output matches the pellet mill’s power requirements.
- Die Flushing: Before initial use, flush the die with an oil mixture (20% fine sand, 65% biomass material, and 15% oil). Run the mixture through the die for 10-15 minutes to ensure smooth operation and uniform pellet formation.
- Die Maintenance: After the first use, run the oil mixture through the machine three times before shutting it down.
- Regular Lubrication: Lubricate bearings, gears, and other components as per the user manual to minimize wear.
- Routine Inspections: Regularly check the die and rollers to maintain optimal performance.
- Safety First: Never insert hands into the hopper or touch moving parts while the machine is running. Always disconnect the power source and wait for the machine to stop before performing maintenance.
